Job Title: Mechanical & Piping Design Engineer
Location: Pineville, Louisiana
Experience Required:
- 7–10 years in mechanical and piping design within the Chemical or FMCG industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize mechanical and piping systems for process plants.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Develop piping layouts, isometrics, and support structures.
- Review P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and GA (General Arrangement) drawings.
- Select pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and tanks based on process needs.
- Coordinate with process, electrical, instrumentation, and civil engineers for seamless design.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and procurement specifications.
- Provide on-site support during installation, commissioning, and startup.
- Conduct site surveys, as-built documentation, and design modifications.
- Collaborate with vendors, review proposals, and participate in technical discussions.
- Assist in inspections, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and site acceptance.
