Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary:
Seeking a Quality Engineer with expertise in internal quality, scrap and rework resolution, and process improvement. This role collaborates with manufacturing teams and leads problem-solving initiatives to enhance quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze internal scrap and rework data.
- Lead internal 8D problem resolution teams.
- Support containment of supplier quality non-conformances.
- Review and approve sampling procedures and documentation.
- Supervise equipment evaluation programs for accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and implement quality inspection and testing standards.
- Facilitate training on quality control practices as needed.
- Collaborate with team leads, manufacturing engineers, and technicians.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in manufacturing quality engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and problem-solving methodologies.
- Familiarity with 8D methodology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Minitab or similar data analysis tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively across levels, including shop floor and management.
