What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP MDG Project Manager position at Intellectt Inc?
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the activities of small to large-scale projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the SAP MDG system, ensuring system reliability, stability, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor incident management and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for MDG Material Master, providing guidance to stakeholders and project teams.
- Collaborate with the Data Governance team to enforce data quality standards and compliance with internal/external regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize MDG operations and efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams including ERP CoE, Supply Chain, Shared Services, and Business Units to ensure alignment and integration of MDG processes.
- Analyze and report on MDG system performance, highlighting key trends, metrics, and improvement areas.
- Provide clear project tracking, reporting, and presentations to management and business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in SAP or Master Data-related roles.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG, with a strong preference for Material Master domain expertise.
- Prior experience in a managerial or project leadership role is highly desirable.
