What are the responsibilities and job description for the People Operations Coordinator position at INTELLIGENT FOODS INC?
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to perform variety of HR administrative duties such as but not limited to: keeping track of employee records, supporting payroll, benefits, workers compensation and managing the HR office. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all employees at our facility in Westampton, NJ.
What will you be doing:
- Provide support to the HR Team in all related functions such as but not limited to: payroll, benefits, safety, HRIS and data entry as well as maintaining all personnel files updated.
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Conduct new employee onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating new hire orientation.
- Create and maintain employee files and other HR related records such as but not limited to: workers compensation, benefits, medical, etc.
- Support benefits administration processes, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Coordinate and support employee training and development activities.
- Manage employee events and activities as directed by the HR Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and projects.
- Assist in responding to HR specific mail such as but not limited to: unemployment claims, verifications, garnishments as well as creating verification of employment letters.
- Provide weekly reports as requested by HR Team and other members of management
- Assigned back-up for the HR Generalist.
Who you are and why you're right for us:
- A.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology or related field strongly preferred
- 2 years experience in an administrative or coordinator role in Human Resources or related field required
- Bi-lingual Preferred (Spanish and or Vietnamese)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a can-do-attitude required
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with all levels of the organization
- Intermediate Microsoft knowledge (i.e. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other Gmail tools
- Basic understanding of State and Federal Employment Laws
- Ability to work in a continuous changing environment, adapt to change and recalibrate work accordingly.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts (day and night) and weekends as needed
