JOB SUMMARY
In this position, you will develop the skills required to be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating customer and company assembly documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures, and support Customer Service, Purchasing, Stockroom and Kit Verification, Production, Engineering, Quality and other departments as needed. As a part of this responsibility you will need to be proficient in the following:
- Process, maintain and control customer documentation.
- Create, maintain, and control build documentation for product assembly for PCB.
- Scan and file build history documents.
- Communicate (both verbally and in writing) and collaborate with customers, Account Managers, Engineering, Materials personnel, Stockroom personnel, Production personnel and Quality.
- Order and verify solder stencils.
- Maintains and updates Document Control/Rev Control systems in accordance with documented procedures.
- Maintains and coordinates documentation as required by the manufacturing facility ensuring that product documentation available at the point of use is at the appropriate revision.
- Maintains, controls, verifies, and ensures ECOs are processed using Quality Documentation Management Systems (QDMS) or another electronic system in a timely manner and are accurate.
- Maintains numbering systems for new and revised quality system documentation and product documentation.
- Maintains an accurate Master Record filling system.
- Issuance of manufacturing documentation and track ultimate disposition of each issued document.
- Assist in the review of documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Communicates documentation and assembly issues to customers and resolutions of all issues to materials and/or manufacturing departments as needed.
- Keeps abreast of the basic requirements for compliance in own area of work and complies with those requirements.
- Maintains a clean, neat and orderly area.
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Microsoft Office business Programs.
- Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, kit verification (components and parts) and a familiarity with electrical engineering or related PCB Assembly experience.
- Read and interpret prints, BOM, assembly documentation for component placement and accuracy.
- Attention to detail in both words and visual diagrams for verification of customer specs.
- Good communication both written and verbal.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
High School diploma and/or GED or equivalent work experience and training as to documentation creation, control, and maintenance.
Working and recent knowledge of IPC-610 or IPC-610 Certification.
