Senior Business Analysis - Equity Trade Support - Equities Business Team
Our client is looking for a contractorwho works with the Equities Trading Desks and can manage both analytics andcoding in excel and build out macros and has used Bloomberg.
Requirements :o We need someone that has access to Bloomberg sothat they can build custom indexes, worksheets and more. Access to Bloombergalso allows them to build infrastructure in excel (Bloomberg has BDH / BQL / BDPlanguage that can be soft coded into excel). Someone who is proficient inBloomberg syntax and experience with all the above is needed.

o Experience building factor scores for customequity (stock) baskets
o Proficiency with multivariable calculusand advanced statistics
o Familiarity with fractal mathematics, even ifonly at a conceptual level
o Proficiency in building excelinfrastructure using macros
o Proficiency building excel automations
o Proficiency in using excel for visualizations(charts, tables, bar graphs, formulaic conditional formatting, etc.)
o Proficiency with Python, SQL and other codinglanguages
o Ability to write code that automatically pullsdata from websites into excel
o Web scraping (ex : aggregating datafrom Clinicaltrials.gov)
Key criteria for this role is someone having Bloomberg terminal experience, excel macros, SQL and Python.
Please look for someone who was working directly with traders in execution of their strategies.
Someone who has majored in applied math or financial engineering.
