Key Responsibilities
- Lead the FP&A team in developing and implementing financial planning processes, including annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial guidance, including scenario analysis, investment evaluations, and business case development.
- Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and insights to executive management and stakeholders, highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives, investments, and strategic plans.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators to identify risks and drive operational improvements.
- Collaborate with departments such as Operations, Marketing, and Merchandising to align financial goals with business objectives and support profitable growth.
- Lead special projects and initiatives related to financial performance improvement, process optimization, and strategic planning.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations for business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA/CFA certification preferred).
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (preferably in the retail industry).
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning software; experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and analytical mindset to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and management abilities to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
