Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for store-level and regional positions.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Collaborate with store managers to identify staffing needs and create workforce plans.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by fostering open communication and resolving conflicts professionally.
- Implement and manage performance review processes, offering guidance to managers on goal-setting and constructive feedback.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to upskill employees and leadership teams.
- Oversee onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and leave programs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to track key HR metrics.
- Drive company-wide HR initiatives, including diversity and inclusion programs, employee engagement efforts, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with corporate HR teams to implement best practices and align regional strategies with overall organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the retail or supermarket industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
