Job Duties:
- Ensure pipeline unaccounted-for results and economic impacts are minimized through accurate data analysis and consolidation for pipeline balance.
- Provide customer service related to measurement data for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain the measurement database for historical volumetric and gas quality information across all pipeline system stations.
- Prepare various reports for internal and external customers, maintaining accurate records of measurement reports, including meter calibration records.
- Act as the office of record for all measurement documents required for contractual and litigation purposes.
- Set up new measurement stations, ensuring volume, gas quality, and system balance data integrity.
- Ensure the integrity of electronic flow measurement (EFM) data, resolving system processing errors, missing or incorrect data, and physical measurement parameters.
- Process prior period adjustments (PPAs) for inaccurate measurement data when necessary.
- Process and reprocess measurement data from orifice and positive charts for custody transfer calculations, billing, and transaction payments.
- Identify and resolve anomalies with field personnel and other sources.
- Perform technical validation of gas analyses and quality information based on reasonableness checks and historical data.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; or equivalent work experience (typically six years of progressive, related work experience in lieu of a degree).
- Experience: Minimum of two years of related measurement experience in the energy industry.
- Strong math skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to adapt to technological changes in the measurement industry.
- Ability to work effectively under peak loads and time constraints.
- Must be available for overtime and weekends as needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic work environment.
