Lead Installer Field Technician

IntelliSource is seeking a skilled Lead Installer Field Technician in the renewable energy field to join our partner's dynamic team. We are looking for someone who is willing to travel 50% or more of the time with little notice required. 

Schedule:

8-10 hour shifts depending on workload.

On call

Compensation:

70k annually

 
Lead Installer Field Technician Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers on all call activities up to and including scheduled arrival time, scheduled calls, and any deviation that may have occurred.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures and execute repairs at the customer site.
• Completes repairs within standard guidelines as set by the company: repair time, quality of repairs, amount of rework, quantity of repairs, labor efficiency and other measures.
• Maintain a parts inventory and ship back parts, when necessary, at the end of service calls
• Provide status online during the day including updating service call activity and keeping management aware of any issues requiring additional attention.
• Must be highly self-sufficient and be able to work alone or as part of a team.

 
Lead Installer Field Technician Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong electrical and plumbing skills are a must
• Extensive previous field experience
• Commercial kitchen equipment installation / service including plumbing, electrical testing and installation preferred
• Willingness to travel (by air or car) 50 % of the time with little notice is required.  In this position, you should not expect to be home Monday-Friday and should have the flexibility to work on call, including weekends
• Excellent organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs. is a requirement
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Must have a passport or be able to get one in the first 60days of employment

 Education:

• High school or equivalent
• Technical school or College a plus.
• Military Training Electro-Mechanical field

Experience:

• Field Service: 3 years (Preferred)
• Electrical: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical: 1 year (Preferred)
• Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
