What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Clerk position at IntelliSource?
IntelliSource is excited to hire an Inventory Clerk for our partner in South Reno. This person will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and organized. You will manage and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will track stock levels, conduct regular audits/cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy. The starting wage for this position is $18.00 an hour.
What you will be doing as an Inventory Clerk:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using tracking systems or software.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies.
- Organize and label inventory for easy identification and retrieval.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure stock availability.
- Process inventory reports and update records as needed.
- Assist in order fulfillment and restocking as required.
- Follow safety and storage guidelines to maintain a secure inventory environment.
What will you bring to the Inventory Clerk position?
- Positive, proactive attitude & “can-do” mentality that is customer service oriented.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus).
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
