Key Responsibilities :

• Provides robust BI solutions for complex problems that are extensible and scalable.
• Designing, developing, and managing cloud-based analytics tools to develop self-service / automation capabilities.
• Partnering with Customer Experience program and analytics teams to identify new product development ideas, draft technical requirements, and build solutions to enable teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Advocate the team on cloud-based tools / services for data deep dives, and insight generation and help stakeholders to think / operate at scale.
• Research, collaborate, and implement new technologies and methodologies to solve challenging business problems.
• Serve as liaison between the business and analytics team to provide actionable insights into current business performance and ad-hoc investigations to support future improvements or innovations. This will require data gathering and manipulation, problem-solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.
• Drives best practices in operational excellence, data modeling, and analysis. Ensure that BI solutions are correctly and efficiently supporting the business.
• Write high-quality code to retrieve and analyze data and build data visualizations to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through rich visualizations.

Job Description :

In this position, we are looking for a Sr. BI Engineer with experience in applying analytics to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate has a demonstrable track record of success in driving business impact through the application of analytics. As a BI Engineer, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to perform data analyses, develop complex SQL queries for ad-hoc requests and projects, define metrics through your deep understanding of the business, and create self-service dashboards / reports to bring visibility into the health of the business. You will exercise your technical skills in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools and visualization tools such as QuickSight to produce reports and build flexible dashboards and information-rich insights.
