Job Title: HSE Analyst - Level II

Description of responsibilities:

Performs routine functions related to a site's environmental permit requirements, Environmental objectives and targets, and the overall Environmental Management System (EMS). Routine functions may include the gathering of emissions and discharge data, incidents and accidents, visual site inspections, sampling wastewater discharges, maintaining waste accumulation areas, labeling waste containers, and other related duties, as directed by the site HSE Supervisor or HSE Manager. Assists with the application of engineering and administrative controls to reduce the environmental impacts associated with site operations and to control safety risks. Supports the collection of site Environmental KPIs for use at the site, BU and Corporate levels.
Key Responsibilities :
Supports implementation and maintenance of the site EMS, control of significant aspects and risks and achievement of Environmental objectives/targets. Supports regulatory compliance efforts and other programs applicable at the site including storm water management, employee training, recordkeeping/reporting, and other associated HSE programs at a facility. Monitors the day-to-day operations associated with pollution prevention, waste management, air quality, water quality and related programs. Assists with internal and external Environmental audits; resolves basic issues identified in audits; updates EMS documentation.

-3-5 years' work experience required -Environmental will be the main focus for this position -Experience with air and water waste -ISO 14001 certification
Qualifications and Competencies:

• Risk Assessment - Evaluates hazards within the work environment by applying hazard identification and risk assessment techniques to analyze and prioritize risk, enabling a selection of control measures that reduce risk as low as reasonably practicable.
• Environmental Management Systems - Interprets and applies international standards through practical application within the operating environment to achieve and maintain an effective management system and external certification.
• Environmental Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis - Examines Environmental incidents by completing quality, evidence based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting and avoiding repeated incidents.
• Measurement and Evaluation of Environmental Performance - Collects and analyzes data by creating key performance indicators to evaluate performance trends, deliver improvement goals and objectives, inform strategy and protect employees and the environment.
• Management of Environmental Regulatory Compliance - Identifies, interprets and manages legal and other requirements by implementing controls, monitoring and reporting on operational performance to ensure compliance with environmental related regulations and standards. Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
• Plans and aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
• Data Mining - Extracts insights from data by identifying relationships and patterns through use of a suite of data exploration and data visualization techniques to understand the underlying structure of the data and enable sound conclusions upon model building.
• Job Duties :
  Assigning training based on site safety training matrixes into the client Learning Center;
  Extract and distribute reports on training progress, audits, corrective actions, metrics, and any other health, safety, and environmental related data as required;
  Performing trend analysis for the Accelera HSE function;
  Preparing presentations for leadership using extracted health, safety, and environmental data;
  Manage and keep current the HSE SharePoint site;
  Organize the HSE Teams page and keep up to date the site HSE team calendar;
  Organize and distribute team meeting invites for the HSE team;
  Maintain and update the HSE scorecard;
  Support HSE site with HSE metrics reporting;
  Create and maintain HSE specific PowerBi reports;
  Help coordinate HSE workshops and in-person meetings;
  Education, Licenses, Certifications : College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific field required.
