Lead Software Engineer

About the Role : We are seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in software development and team leadership to drive innovative projects in real-time systems.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in C, C , Python, and LabWindows / CVI.
At least 2 years of experience in leading software teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multithreaded environments.
Proficient in embedded systems development.
Ability to create technical documentation and derive software requirements from customer specifications.
Familiarity with DO-178B / DO-178C certification processes.
Hands-on experience with hardware / software integration and general-purpose test equipment.
Knowledge of ClearCase / ClearQuest, DOORS, and BITBUCKET.
Key Skills and Competencies :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new teams and processes while applying prior knowledge effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills to break complex issues into manageable tasks and develop systematic solutions.
Ability to collaborate across functional disciplines (hardware, software, systems) in a team-oriented environment.
Proficient in generating innovative ideas and optimizing existing solutions while maintaining contingency plans.
Demonstrated motivation, with a proactive approach to prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
