Role Overview :
Join our dynamic team as we support the data analysis and cleanup initiatives for the North American Commercial Bank, focusing on the US Emerging Middle Market, US Lower Middle Market, and Canadian Mid Market.
Contribute to an exciting data cleanup project stemming from a recent merger.
Bring your expertise in data cleanup and migration, alongside your banking experience, to drive impactful results in this crucial role.
Key Responsibilities :
Review and cleanse duplicated data sources according to established protocols.
Analyze strategic problems, leveraging data and insights to provide actionable recommendations.
Create value through insightful reporting and data visualization, ensuring consistency and reliability in analytics solutions.
Identify trends and patterns in data to drive continuous improvement and transform raw data into valuable business insights.
Utilize critical thinking to diagnose and solve complex issues within defined guidelines.
Work autonomously, effectively managing non-routine situations as they arise.
Embrace broader work responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.
Essential Qualifications :
5 years of experience in Data Analytics.
A relevant post-secondary degree is preferred.
Proven experience with data cleanup and data migration projects.
Intermediate skills in programming, querying, modeling, and analytics tools (SQL).
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with a knack for quick learning.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across functions.
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills to assess issues and determine appropriate next steps.
General understanding of data-driven decision-making and its impact on business outcomes.
Familiarity with Python / SAS and Power BI is a plus.
Experience in Lending or Operations is an added advantage.
