Job Responsibilities
- Serve residents in post-acute facilities as an LPN
- Document medical histories and health concerns in a timely manner
- Monitor vital signs, mental health, and physical conditions
- Track charts and medical records of residents
- Assist with medication dispensing, verification, and monitoring effects
- Maintain a comfortable and safe facility for residents
- Provide assistance with IV setup, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
- Support medical supply storage and inventory management
- Assist with staff orientation and training of new hires
- Ensure adherence to care plans and follow applicable regulations and policies
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Completion of approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- 6 months experience as a LPN (or similar role)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
