TITLE: Pricing Analyst

POSITION OBJECTIVE: A Pricing Analyst at Inteplast has the responsibility to work with different variables and market data to help determine the most appropriate and competitive pricing to increase the overall revenue of the business. The pricing analyst must be highly detailed and able to consider multiple variables and pricing models.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four-year degree from a college or university is preferred
• One to two years of pricing and analytical experience is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service; behave professionally; treat others with respect and dignity
• Physical requirements include duties common to a regular office environment
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact and assist with Sales team for pricing requests for quotation
• Perform data entry into AS400 system
• After the management team reviews prices, pricing analyst is responsible for distribution of approved price to Sales team
• Work with marketing team to develop strategic analyses and plans for increasing sales and profit for textile and polyester production a global scale
• Analyze pricing initiatives; assist in creation of pricing and revenue optimization solutions
• Analyze and integrate complex pricing, shipping, volume parameters, and variable costs for both US domestic and international sales
• Evaluate and track cost effectiveness/profitability of current and proposed marketing products and promotions plans
• Review and analyze quotes submitted by regional sales marketing teams to comply with ational account’s terms and conditions; adjust price following chemical data/resin price changes; translate analyses into actionable recommendations
• Daily work consists of processing rebates, quotes, and order price holds which require pricing research and pricing analysis
• Analyze sales volume performance data using Query, Access & MS Office EXCEL and WORD and AS-400 system
• Automate, streamline, and simplify the processes involved in the quotation/follow-up/reporting cycle
• Work closely and consultatively with Business Operations by processing the high volume of Web Quote requests received from the Regional Sales Teams.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
