TITLE: Shipping Loader A
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To ensure on-time, accurate shipments of BOPP materials meeting all customer and internal quality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or equivalent
Good interpersonal skills
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
All operational-related duties/responsibilities of Loader – B
Strive to achieve departmental and quality objectives
Demonstrate safe work habits, ensuring equipment is in safe working condition, reporting unsafe acts/conditions to Senior Lead, follows Lock Out/Tag Out as necessary
Support continual improvement
Certified forklift operator
Comply with company recycling policy
Comply with company housekeeping policies
Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions.
Outside environmental conditions, no effective protection from weather.
Inside and outside environments apply.
Subject to extreme cold; temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
Subject to extreme heat; temperatures above 100 degrees for more than one hour.
Subject to noise, causing person to shout in order to be heard above noise level.
Subject to vibration, exposure, fluctuating movement of the body.
Subject to hazard such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat or explosives.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility emphasized.
Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.

VISUAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
Machine operation, inspection, and close assembly, clerical and administrative duties. Example: preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, data entry, CRT exposure, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, using measurements devices or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Machine operation and skilled trades; use of lathes, drills, presses, power tools, to see where a job is at, or within, arms reach.
Mobile equipment operations; operate cars, trucks, buses, forklifts, cranes and high lift equipment.
Other criteria based on accuracy and neatness of work. Example: Cleaning personnel, sweepers, janitors, cooks.
Position requires individual to differentiate colors, depth and perception.
