TITLE: QC Technician C
POSITION OBJECTIVE: The objective of the C-level technician is to ensure the customer requirements for quality are met through inspection and testing products; comparing the results to the order requirements and specifications; and reporting these results to production personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Good analytical skills
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Apply management directives to ensure that all department personnel are aware of these.
Inspection and testing of products by customer requirements and specifications.
Communication with plant personnel concerning procedure compliance.
Clear and accurate documentation of procedure compliance
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
Inside the building environmental conditions protected from outside weather conditions.
Outside environmental conditions, no effective protection from weather.
Subject to extreme heat at times, temperatures above 100 degrees for more than an hour.
Subject to noise, causing reason to shout to be heard above the noise level.
Subject to vibration exposure, fluctuating movements of the body.
Subjects to hazards such as moving machines, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat or explosives.
Subject to unregulated atmospheric conditions caused by odors, fumes, gases, poor ventilation and dusts.

AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING:
To place returned product(s) from customer complaints on hold with assistance from “Sr.” Technician / A” technician and or technical manager according to current inspection and testing procedures and product specifications.
For product that is produced within the facility; to be able to reason and remove holds with assistance from “Sr.” Technician /” A” technician and or Technical Manager when the product quality has been determined to meet customer requirements.
Follow disposition instructions from Upper Management on the product(s).

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
Climbing, ascending or descending, stairs, and ramps, Using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
Balancing, and maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery moving surfaces.

Machine operation, inspection, clerical and administrative duties. Examples: preparing and analyzing data and figures, data entry, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, using measurement devices close to the eyes.
Machine operation and skilled trades, various lab equipment, where seeing at the job is at or within arm’s reach.
Other criteria based on accuracy and neatness of work. Example: lab paperwork, and lab environment.
Position requires an individual to differentiate colors, depth, and perception.
Must be able to detect visual defects in film.
