What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Inteplast Group?
TITLE: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for mechanical and electrical repairs of production machinery and facility infrastructure. Including but not limited to flexographic printers and converting machines.
The hours for this position will be 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm Monday – Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have manufacturing experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
Communicate effectively with others.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Must have good problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly to prevent machinery downtime.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
Troubleshoot equipment controls, including relays, contactors, motor starters, PLC’s, switches, heaters, thermocouples.
Experience with PLC’s, AC and DC drives, and Servo motors.
TRAINING:
Must complete ongoing training as required.
Initial training may be required on first shift.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
Exposure to machinery noise and variable temperatures.
Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE:
Must provide your own tools.
Must have some computer experience for emails and work orders.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
You must be able to work on a ladder, kneel, and position around machines.
