TITLE: QC Technician
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Inspects company product for proper quality, fit and special-order compliance in order to meet or exceed company and/or customer requirements ensuring accordance with procedures and training. Shift Hours 6:00am-4pm, 4 days/week (Monday-Thursday)
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 1-year previous experience in a manufacturing and quality setting required.
Ability to make analytical judgement on correctness, accuracy, and appropriateness of information.
Attention to detail, accuracy and documentation skills.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct quality inspections of work in process and finished products, documenting any rejected items or raw material issues.
Reviews and maintains Certificates of Analysis (COA’s)
Assists in addressing customer complaints regarding reject or nonconforming products and promptly notifies management of any unusual discrepancies or issues.
Provide training to production colleagues on quality control concepts and inspection techniques as needed.
Inspect operational areas of the plant.
Identify and communicate nonconformance’s to the affected department with quality hold tickets.
Performs other duties as assigned.
