Technical Specialist (Contract) – Desktop Support

Location: Pittsfield, NH

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team on a contract basis to support end users at our Global Manufacturing location in Pittsfield, NH. This role will be instrumental in providing desktop support across engineering, production, and office teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently, and the adaptability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot PC hardware and software for MSA associates.
• Provide desktop support for Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 11, Windows 10) and Microsoft Applications.
• Support iOS devices, including iPads, iPhones, and Mac PCs.
• Troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN), Wireless Networks, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Intune.
• Provide mobile device support and assist with software deployment tools.
• Utilize Jira to track issues, analyze trends, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
• Identify and resolve customer service issues proactively.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for better customer support.
• Support key enterprise applications, including SAP, VPN, Two-Factor Authentication, and PC encryption.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

5 years of hands-on PC support experience

Proven hardware and software troubleshooting expertise

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Solid understanding of PC imaging and software deployment

Ability to manage projects and contribute to global standardization efforts

Education & Experience

High School diploma required

Minimum of 5 years in PC support roles
