IntePros is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Tax Coordinator to join our global healthcare client. This person will manage tax account registrations, handle escalated tax inquiries, and support various tax-related processes. This role involves working closely with taxing authorities, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in payroll tax operations.

- Complete and submit new account registration forms to taxing jurisdictions.
- Address escalated tax tracers and resolve account issues with taxing authorities.
- Follow up on newly established state accounts and provide updates to third-party vendors (e.g., SUI rates).
- Audit tax accounts for activity and coordinate with the Payroll Tax Coordinator to close inactive accounts.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Tax Department to open new local and state tax accounts.
- Communicate with internal partners and external parties regarding tax or payroll issues.
- Assist in updating tax accounts during mergers, consolidations, and divestitures.
- File tax returns and amendments that third-party vendors cannot process.
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax and payroll processing software, preferably ADP Enterprise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive, confidential situations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to implement processes that support effective audit practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
