Proposal Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Proposal Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end proposal process, working closely with sales, subject matter experts, and leadership to develop high-quality responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs). Your expertise in proposal writing, project management, and strategic messaging will play a critical role in securing new business and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Proposal Process: Lead the full lifecycle of proposal development, from initial intake and strategy alignment to final submission.
• Craft Tailored Responses: Write and edit clear, compelling, and customer-focused responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with sales, product teams, and senior leadership to gather information and align proposal content with business objectives.
• Ensure Consistency and Quality: Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and format across all proposals while meeting strict deadlines.
• Content Management: Maintain and update a centralized proposal content library to streamline future submissions.
• Analyze and Improve: Review proposal outcomes and incorporate feedback to strengthen future responses.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in proposal writing, business development, or sales support, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with proposal management tools (e.g., Qvidian) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal skills—able to influence, engage, and build consensus across teams.
