IntePros is seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to provide onsite construction safety support to our industry-leading pharmaceutical client. This person will ensure compliance with safety regulations, and assist in critical project phases, including Power On / Energization Planning and CQV activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, risk assessment, and compliance documentation.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Construction Management team to consult and advise on safe work practices.
- Assist in the development of safety programs and related documentation.
- Identify, document, and follow up on potential safety risks in the field, working with CMs and Supervisors to implement corrective actions.
- Support Startup and Commissioning teams to ensure safety compliance, including LOTO-compliance, communication, training, and documentation.
- Deliver training sessions for Spark FTEs and contractors on Work at Height, Confined Space, LOTO, and other safety protocols.
- Assist in developing and executing Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Participate in safety coordination meetings.
- Perform weekly field compliance audits.
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs ) and work permits (SPAs and others).
- Oversee the implementation of the HSE Project Plan within the Construction Management team.
- Provide safety support during the Startup / Commissioning phase.
- Perform other safety-related tasks as assigned.
