We are looking for a highly motivated individual with proven CAD technical skills . As a Corporate Real Estate - Space Management Support Consultant, you will assist the space management function including the coordination of furniture adjustment requests within the Furniture Management Program and supporting the drafting and maintenance activities for the digital records of the IDB Group’s Corporate Real Estate portfolio.
You will work very closely with the Furniture Project Manager, and Headquarters and Country Offices Project Managers as part of the Corporate Real Estate Group.

About This Position
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with proven CAD technical skills . As a Corporate Real Estate - Space Management Support Consultant, you will assist the space management function including the coordination of furniture adjustment requests within the Furniture Management Program and supporting the drafting and maintenance activities for the digital records of the IDB Group’s Corporate Real Estate portfolio.
You will work very closely with the Furniture Project Manager, and Headquarters and Country Offices Project Managers as part of the Corporate Real Estate Group.
What you’ll do
- Provide support to the Furniture Program, including furniture integration management, attending ticket requests, scheduling and related functions, attending required design review meetings, assisting with phasing and move planning to support all projects.
- Provide support in Spec Checking furniture selections to meet client’s expectations and that their specifications for the associated orders are correct.
- Provide support in pre-occupancy checks and inspect furniture and utilities for accurate installation and proper function.
- Assist with developing and implementing move-in and move-out plans and provide move coordination and relocation assistance.
- Follow the Institution’s guidelines for proper disposal of furniture, and manage, schedule, and coordinate the proper use of resources related to all phases of furniture removal for recycling purposes. Work closely with the Corporate Sustainability team for input.
- Support in maintaining accurate inventory and usage data of furniture and equipment within Facilities and Asset Management program.
- Provide support as necessary in the production, alteration, and modification of architectural space plans using AutoCAD.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards, codes, and guidelines in all produced CAD documentation.
- Perform reviews to verify that space data standards are applied and kept up to date throughout the corporate real estate portfolio and perform surveys as necessary.
- Support the Country Offices team with furniture and space management coordination as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Architectural Design, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
- Experience: At least two years of relevant experience working with Autodesk suite systems (AutoCAD) and similar activities. Experience working with multilateral organizations and the Latin America and Caribbean region is a plus. Ability to develop, analyze and articulate project issues.
- Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.
