About This Position
The Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for the administration and development of the human resources in the IDB Group. It also oversees the implementation of the People Strategy, building and implementing programs and methodologies in direct support of our results-based business model, and focusing on the development of the Bank’s talent and technical skills capacity.
The HR Business Partners (HRBPs) for the Operations and Corporate Groups provide direct services to the Vice Presidencies and Departments of the IDB, supporting the entire employee lifecycle from sourcing to retirement (e.g., recruitment, hiring, career development, performance management, rewards and recognition, compensation, benefits services, and payroll).
We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented professional to support the HR Business Partners to strengthen the team’s ability to respond effectively to clients’ needs.

What you’ll do
- Support the HRBPs in the roll out of the Performance Review and Calibration Meetings by providing data-driven solutions using the Workforce Intelligence Group’s analytics tools and others as necessary to deliver high-impact data-driven presentations to Clients Groups.
- Assist with gathering information and preparing high-quality analysis, pertinent reports, and presentations for the Talent Management Initiatives led by the HRBPs to help drive HR decisions.
- Utilize technology and analytical/predictive tools to develop and analyze enterprise-wide personnel, HRD operations, processes, or programs, and other cross-functional data and share information for decision-making processes, as needed.
- Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends and utilizing the statistical analysis to build and identify personnel trends (recruitment, attrition, resignations, promotions).
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to deliver results exceeding expectations. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Summarize written findings and results, including graphs, charts, and tables through reports and presentations for internal and external clients.
- Attend meetings, draft minutes, and ensure timely clearance and distribution.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant fields.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years relevant professional experience in similar functions, working with HR metrics, data analytics, systems, and processes.
- Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
- Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications.
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
- Type of contract: Full-time Consultant.
- Length of contract: 18 months initially, with possibility of extension.
