Inter-Con is searching for motivated individuals to fill the exciting role of an Armed Diplomatic Security Officer. In this role, you’ll work as a galvanized member of an elite team of security operators protecting some of our nation’s most critical assets and diplomats. You will be part of the comprehensive security solution to protect our and visiting nations’ diplomats across multiple locations in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications
· Pass a Physical Readiness Test consisting of push-ups, sit-ups, and a 1.5 mile run
· Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
· Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
· Fluent in both the written and spoken English language
· Possess a valid United States driver's license
· Guard Card
· Possess a minimum of three (3) years active-duty military service, having held the rank of E-4 or higher upon Honorable Discharge; OR,
· Have minimum of three (3) years of federal, state, local law enforcement or military police experience; OR,
· Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of learning; OR,
· Have a minimum of three (3) years of verified armed security officer experience within the most recent four (4) years.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the security and safety of designated premises by conducting regular patrols and monitoring CCTV systems.
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or alarms, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary.
- Provide first aid assistance to individuals in need and coordinate with emergency services as required.
- Enforce laws and regulations on the premises, working closely with law enforcement agencies when needed.
- Conduct surveillance operations to identify and prevent potential security threats.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and protect assets.
