Production Associate – Flexible Schedule – Refrigerated Food Distribution Facility

Join a high-volume, fast-paced cold food production team in Linden, NJ! We’re hiring reliable, experienced warehouse associates who want flexible shifts and consistent weekly hours. Work as often as you’d like — from 1 to 7 days per week — you control your schedule.

Key Job Details:
- Shift Time: 6:00 AM start time
- Location: Linden, NJ
- Environment: Refrigerated warehouse (cold temperatures)
How Scheduling Works:
- Shifts are filled daily based on production orders
- You’ll be contacted each afternoon if you’re needed the next day
- You can work as little as 1 day or up to 7 days per week
- We prefer those available at least 4–5 shifts/week
- Shift rosters are sent to building security daily, so communication and reliability are critical
Responsibilities:
- Pack, label, and assemble fresh food products
- Lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Work in cold warehouse environments (coolers, freezers)
- Follow food safety (GMP) protocols and safety instructions
- Communicate effectively with team leads and show up on time
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior warehouse, cold storage, or food production experience
- A reliable worker who answers their phone and shows up when scheduled
- Able to read basic English instructions (bilingual English/Spanish a plus)
- Comfortable lifting, squatting, bending, and standing for 8 hours
- Team-oriented and consistent – no attendance issues
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 55 per week
