Our client, a multi-billion dollar materials manufacturer for commercial and consumer products, is seeking a Capital Projects Engineer to join their team responsible for one of the most critical components that allows our client to manufacture their industry leading products.

Required Education/Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in engineering discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience as in project engineering or project management in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment
- Experience managing full lifecycle of project with budgets up to 1 million
- Directly influence design, operational preparations, vedor construction management, cost, and project deadline tracking by providing appropriate leadership and technical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with operations, process, and maintenance staff throughout project lifecycle
- Proficient with 2D CAD application for drafting/project design
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Undergraduate in Chemical Engineering with 3 years of direct experience managing capital projects in a refinery, petro-chemical, or relevant heavy industrial distillation process
- Advanced proficiency troubleshooting piping, pressure vessel, and rotating equipment used in continuous high heat distillation chemical processes
- Experience working with blow still oxidation processes
- PMP certification, formal project management training, or proven PM skills through application
- Well versed in process hazard analysis and process safety management
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
