We have partnered with a client who is looking to hire Talented Data Engineers to join their team in Austin, Texas!
As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Data Engineer to transition our clients' solutions to an advanced cloud platform. Your role will involve enhancing data quality and implementing cutting-edge data orchestration processes using modern cloud technologies. You'll be instrumental in developing secure and robust data architectures that empower our clients' customers/ partners with actionable insights to drive their business growth.

- Design and implement data pipelines to extract and integrate data from various sources using Azure, Snowflake, and cloud-native technologies.
- Develop data models that provide actionable insights, optimize operational efficiency, and track key performance metrics.
- Oversee and manage both inbound and outbound data processes, ensuring effective monitoring and seamless integration of new data feeds into our clients' ecosystem.
- Thrive in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team, delivering high-quality products incrementally and iteratively.
- Write code adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to uphold the highest data quality standards as defined by stakeholders.
- Automate data testing procedures and integrate them with existing monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Application Engineering, DBA, Infrastructure, and the Project Management Office.
- Analyze current (including legacy) systems and data sets to assist Business Analysts in defining both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Engage with users to resolve data-related technical issues and support their infrastructure needs.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Services, including Data Factory, SQL Database, Functions, Data Lake, Databricks, Logic Apps, and Azure Automation.
- Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming languages such as Python, Scala, and C#.
- Advanced expertise in SQL Server, including writing complex SQL scripts, profiling, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
- Experience with Big Data technologies, including Spark, Snowflake, and Kafka.
- Experience in API creation and utilization.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
Salary : $50 - $65
