About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join a high-performing Escrow team in Sherman Oaks, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 4–6 years of escrow experience who is adept at managing title clearance, customer service inquiries, HUD statement approvals, and post-closing matters.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Closing & Title Clearance:
- Review and approve HUD statements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Assist closing coordinators with title clearance, reviewing commitments, and legal documents.
- Support policy requests and conduct thorough policy reviews.
- Aid the Disbursements Department as needed.
- Utilize client online banking systems for escrow transactions.
Customer Service & Closing Coordination:
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide timely solutions.
- Work closely with closing teams to address issues and ensure smooth transactions.
- Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and clients to facilitate closing procedures.
Post-Closing & Compliance:
- Assist in managing post-closing matters, including filing audits and document reconciliation.
- Maintain an active Escrow Officer license, participating in webinars and training for continuing education requirements.
- Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met in every transaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4–6 years of escrow experience required.
- Strong knowledge of title commitments, HUD-1 forms, escrow transactions, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in escrow software, client banking systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
