Human Resources Generalist
Overview : We are seeking a dedicated HR professional to manage a wide range of HR duties, contributing to the success and growth of our organization. This role involves providing support in recruitment, employee relations, policy development, compliance, and performance management, ensuring a positive and efficient workplace environment
Key Responsibilities :
Recruiting and Staffing :
Oversee the recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt positions.
Lead new employee orientations and ensure smooth onboarding.
Manage job postings and advertising for open positions.
Coordinate all pre-employment assessments, background checks, and other compliance procedures.
Prepare and process all required employment documentation.
Employee Maintenance :
Ensure personnel records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
Regularly update employee information to reflect current status.
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
Administer the compensation program and assist in job classification and pay structure maintenance.
Track and monitor the performance evaluation process.
Employee Relations :
Serve as a liaison between employees and management to communicate HR policies, legal standards, and organizational expectations.
Address and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, or issues, ensuring a fair and respectful workplace.
Respond to legal or ethical concerns, including harassment or discrimination allegations, and assist in resolution.
Employment Policies and Procedures :
Participate in staff meetings and collaborate on the development of HR strategies and programs.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of organizational charts and employee directories.
Evaluate HR department performance, identifying opportunities for improvement in services and processes.
Recommend changes to HR policies and practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Terminations and Exit Management :
Manage the termination process, including conducting exit interviews and analyzing feedback.
Provide recommendations to improve retention and employee satisfaction.
Represent the company in handling unemployment claims, when necessary.

Qualifications :
Education : Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.
Experience : At least 3 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong understanding of HR functions such as recruiting, employee relations, and compliance.
Skills :
Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skilled in interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, prioritize tasks, and delegate when needed.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Experience with HRIS and talent management systems, or ability to quickly learn new software.
