NetSuite ERP Business Consultant – Food & Beverage
Role Overview:
The NetSuite ERP Business Consultant is responsible for analyzing business processes, translating them into system requirements, and configuring NetSuite ERP to align with operational needs. This role serves as a key liaison between business teams and technical specialists, ensuring successful ERP implementation, user adoption, and continuous system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Analysis & Optimization
- Assess and document current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Gather functional requirements across key operational areas such as finance, sales, supply chain, inventory, procurement, and manufacturing.
- Assist in standardizing business workflows, including Lead to Order, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Plan to Produce.
- Design and configure NetSuite solutions to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.
ERP Configuration & Support
- Customize workflows, data fields, and system parameters based on business needs.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and resolve issues prior to implementation.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and addressing system updates.
Data Management & Integrity
- Maintain master data management standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor data integrity within NetSuite, implementing best practices for system-wide data governance.
Training & Change Management
- Develop and deliver user training programs on NetSuite functionalities and best practices.
- Facilitate change management strategies to support ERP adoption and address user concerns.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to ensure timely project execution.
Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to ongoing ERP initiatives by managing deliverables and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Perform other duties as required to support the successful deployment and maintenance of the ERP system.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in ERP functional consulting, business analysis, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of business processes within finance, sales, operations, and manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (preferably NetSuite), including configuration and integration best practices.
- NetSuite ERP or Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP standards and process optimization methodologies.
- Experience with SQL development and troubleshooting is a bonus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in user training and ERP change management initiatives.
