Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Mentorship – Manage a team of engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and ensuring project success.
- Civil Design & Engineering – Develop grading and drainage designs, including driveways, building pads, and erosion & sediment control plans.
- Hydrology & Hydraulic Analysis – Perform hydrology calculations and evaluate drainage features for permit approvals.
- Technical Drafting – Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create civil design drawings.
- Client Relations & Business Development – Engage with potential clients, discuss project needs, and draft professional service agreements.
- Project Coordination – Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless design integration.
- Site Assessments & Inspections – Conduct on-site evaluations, inspections, and construction observations to verify compliance with approved plans.
- Communication & Support – Serve as a primary contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, addressing technical inquiries and providing expertise.
- Field Verification – Perform site visits before and after grading design completion to assess existing conditions and confirm compliance.
