As we continue to grow, we are looking for an innovative and experienced Solutions Architect to lead the development of internal process automation and spearhead the creation of an external AI-powered SaaS product that will shape the future of our business and the industry.

About the Role: As the Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions. You will work closely with leadership, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact automation tools and an AI-powered SaaS product that aligns with our strategic goals. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Design end-to-end solutions for internal process automation and external AI SaaS products.
• AI Integration: Work with advanced AI technologies to develop innovative solutions tailored to business needs.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement automated solutions to streamline operations.
• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and align technical strategies with business goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of developers and engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Scalability & Security: Ensure the architecture supports scalability, security, and maintainability for long-term success.

 Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in solutions architecture, with expertise in building AI-powered SaaS platforms and automation solutions.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and APIs (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and workflows (e.g., UiPath, Zapier, or custom solutions).
• Expertise in data architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in fast-paced startups or entrepreneurial environments.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks related to SaaS platforms and AI solutions.
• Certifications in AI/ML technologies and Cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing cloud-based AI/ML workloads.
• Proven leadership experience in hybrid or fully in-office teams.

Employment Conditions:

·       Full-time, Exempt status

• Hybrid work arrangement: Four (4) days in office, in North Bethesda, MD. One (1) day of remote work per week.
• Hours: regular business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 PM (EST). 

Compensation and Benefits:

·       Annual salary commensurate with experience.

o Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 /year

The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.

Physical Requirements:

·       Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.

·       Primarily seated while performing the duties of the position. Occasional walking or standing is required. The hands are regularly used to write, type, key and handle or feel small controls and objects. The associate must frequently talk and hear. Weights up to 25 pounds are occasionally lifted.
