Job Description:We are looking for a Senior Wordpress Developer to develop and maintain WordPress websites from scratch. This position will be Contract and hybrid in Trenton, NJ.Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
- Ability to port WordPress sites from development environment
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Work with and customize various WordPress plugins, including Elementor, UpdraftPlus, and Yoast
- Edit and reconfigure media content such as photos, videos, and audio
- Strong ability to edit and manage media content (photos, videos, and audio)
- Design and implement creative web pages with a keen eye for aesthetics and user experience
- Creative skills with a strong sense of design and layout
- Ability to collaborate with business units to capture and understand business requirements
- Experience in designing wireframes and user interfaces
- Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred:
- Experience with SEO best practices
- Familiarity with web hosting environments and domain management
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
