Banquet Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee all aspects of our banquet operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Banquet Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all events run smoothly, from planning through execution, while maintaining the highest standards of food service management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
• Lead and train banquet staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that meet client expectations and dietary requirements.
• Oversee the operation of the POS system during events to ensure accurate billing and cash handling.
• Manage inventory and supplies related to banquet services, ensuring proper budgeting and cost control.
• Develop training programs for new staff members to enhance their skills in customer service and food service management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
• Address any guest concerns or issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in banquet management or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of budgeting practices related to event planning and execution.
• Experience in training development for staff members is highly desirable.
• Background in food service management is preferred; bartending experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
