AV Production Specialist Level 2

In search of talented audio/visual technician for a full-time position in a US government television facility. This individual should have the knowledge of video production; in both studio/remote environments as well as having solid AV experience. The AV Production Specialist will work directly with clients and/or the Studio Team on projects and events from inception through completion. Must provide the highest level of customer service while working in a changing media environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor studio equipment for television broadcast, live streaming events, and video productions – including studio/field cameras, audio mixing, and lighting.
  • Operate remote field equipment such as 4K and HD cameras, audio mixers, basic lighting and delivery.
  • Provide in-room support for audio visual events.
  • Lead and assist with installation of equipment and cabling.
  • Research and recommend equipment purchases of equipment and supplies for studio enhancements and upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of television production fundamentals and their applications.
  • Operational knowledge of studio, field, and PTZ cameras.
  • Experience with audio production and live sound mixing fundamentals.
  • Skilled in the setup and operation of audiovisual equipment and software.
  • Familiarity with streaming media and digital media formats and encoding.
  • Excellent customer service, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in media production environment
  • Positive attitude and provide a high level of professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
