Industrial Lubrication Tech./Oiler, Molalla, Oregon

Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Industrial Lubrication Tech./Oiler in Molalla, Oregon. Starting rate for this position is $32.97-$35.26 per hour based on skill level and experience.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for the oiling and greasing of all mill equipment such as conveyors, chains, hogs, chippers and truck bins.
  
• Replace worn out chain and keep hogs and chippers unplugged.
  
• Work on airline oilers, gear boxes, keeps hydraulic tanks full.
  
• Keep outside chipper, blower and feed system running.
  
• Oil and monitor air compressors.
  
• Change filters and maintain all hydraulic and lube oil systems.
  
• Monitor oil, grease, and filter inventories and notify supervisor when ordering is required.
  
• Know and use Lockout procedures and all safety rules.
  
• Train to fill-in for millwrights.
  
• Assist millwrights as needed/available.
  
• Keep work areas, hydraulic units, and oilers clean.
  
• Wear PPE as required (see below).
  
• Be familiar with the Safety Data Sheets of the materials handled
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Maintenance experience preferred.

• Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.

• Excellent attendance record.
  
• Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
