Successful Candidates:
- At least three years of sales experience, preferably in building materials.
- Selling contractors is a plus
- Knowledge of the construction process and building materials preferred
- Identify and develop relationships with contractors, builders, and developers
- Understand their project needs and recommend appropriate building materials or solutions
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales
- Ability to read plans
- High energy with a solid work ethic
- Maintain strong relationships with existing contractor clients
- Provide product recommendations, technical knowledge, and problem-solving support
- Stay informed about construction trends, new materials, and industry regulations
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Commission based motivation
