The team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual to provide customer support, testing, and field repair for LED gas price signs, dynamic message signs, and traffic control systems. This role requires a professional, customer-focused approach in a technical, customer-facing field position.
Availability to travel up to 75% to customer sites within the surrounding states
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Travel to customer locations to install, test, and troubleshoot dynamic message sign systems on highways, roads, and gas stations.
- Complete assigned project work orders on time.
- Prepare trip reports, test results, feedback for engineering, and other written updates.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with customers and team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent customer interfacing and communication skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in basic electronics
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in electronics preferred
- Experience in the use of multimeters measuring AC and DC voltage
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Basic networking and Linux/Unix command line experience is a plus
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform in outside elements
- Comfortable and able to work from a bucket truck at heights up to 100 feet
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
