Physical Demands & Work Environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive analyses of pile behavior, including dynamic testing, wave equation, analysis, and signal matching techniques.
Perform field testing and monitoring of piles using various instrumentation, such as pile driving analyzers, strain gauges, accelerometers, and pile integrity testers.
Interpret test results and data to assess pile integrity, load bearing capacity, and dynamic response characteristics.
Collaborate with design teams to optimize pile design and construction methods based on field observations and analytical findings.
Develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and conclusions for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to pile dynamics and foundation engineering.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during construction phases, including troubleshooting and problem-solving related to pile performance issues.
Participate in research and development initiatives to enhance methodologies, tools and technologies for assessing pile dynamics.
Recruit, train and supervise a team, including project managers, engineers, technicians and other support staff.

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Master’s degree.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in pile dynamics analysis and testing within the civil engineering or construction industry.
Proficiency in utilizing specialized software of pile dynamics analysis.
Strong understanding of soil mechanics, structural dynamics, and geotechnical engineering principles.
Experience with various pile types, including driven piles, drilled shafts, micro piles, and helical piles.
Demonstrated ability to conduct field testing and instrumentation installation on construction sites.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria)
Ability to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification).
