What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Business Development Specialist position at Interim HealthCare Home Health and Hospice?
We are seeking a Sales Representative within our Hospice division to market our services to potential referral sources and increase hospice referral volumes and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain contacts and relationships with referral sources, including Assisted Living Facilities, physician practices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community resources, and other appropriate community resources
- Prepare and conduct presentations to prospective clients
- Implement account development strategies to sell and secure growth in account market share with large complex referral and payer organizations
Requirements
- Prior medical, hospice, or home care sales experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related subject or equivalent years of training and work experience
- Two to three (2-3) years of successful sales experience with comparable customers, preferably healthcare services
