As an Accounting Assistant at Interim HealthCare Home Health and Hospice, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and posting journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
- Assisting in month-end closings.
- Reconciling bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.
- Reconciling month-end reports from Electronic Medical Record systems across divisions.
- Processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records of all outgoing expenses.
- Processing monthly credit card statements and posting in accounting system.
- Assisting with process improvements and special projects as assigned.
