Bookkeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and preparing financial reports for multiple companies. This role requires proficiency in Quickbooks online and a solid understanding of accounting principles, including construction accounting and corporate accounting. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software
• Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance with governmental regulations
• Ensure accuracy in all bookkeeping tasks and resolve discrepancies as they arise
• Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Proficiency in financial software and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online)
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with accounts payable processes and bank reconciliation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to write clear and concise financial reports
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies
