Our company, Interim Healthcare - West Michigan, is seeking a skilled Sales and Marketing Professional to join our Hospice division. This role involves marketing our hospice services to potential referral sources and increasing hospice referral volumes and market share within the designated service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain contacts and relationships with referral sources for hospice clients, including assisted living facilities, physician practices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community resources, and other appropriate community resources.
- Prepare and conduct presentations to prospective clients.
- Implement account development strategies to sell and secure growth in account market share with large complex referral and payer organizations.
- Use customer relationship management system to track and report on activity as well as monitor account development status and plan next steps; reviews reports and activity with supervisor on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- Prior medical, hospice, or home care sales experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related subject or equivalent years of training and work experience.
- Two to three (2-3) years of successful sales experience with comparable customers, preferably healthcare services are preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels within and outside the company.
- Familiarity with hospice, home healthcare services, referral sources, and payers.
- Reliable transportation with a valid state driver's license and valid auto insurance.
