General Purpose:
Provides operational support of the company location(s) as it relates to various functions including, PAR supply levels, payor relations, Intake, Authorizations, Order Management, and other administrative operational processes as well as On - Call.
Part Time Monday - Friday 5 hours a day and weekend on call
10a-3p or 11a-4p
Essential Functions:
- Creates and maintains files for employees, including managing expiring credentials.
- Provides input to management on improving processes and procedures, developing recognition and retention programs, and becoming more cost and time efficient.
- Develop and provide weekly and monthly recruiting reports to leadership.
- Meets metrics for contacting prospects and conducting candidate interviews.
- Collaborates with Office Manager (or designee) in establishing and monitoring compliance with quality standards.
- Responds to incoming calls and assists or routes calls as appropriate.
- Receives referral calls, documents intake requests in the appropriate software.
- Assists in staffing clients with qualified personnel.
- Manages client files in operations software (logistical data entry and client updates)
- Assures Office supplies and stock at Par levels.
- Perform accounts receivable duties; to include posting payments and following up on aging AR using reports and strategies learned for each payor. Escalate problematic accounts accordingly.
- May admit new clients to services as a back up resource
- Participate in On Call rotation as requested.
- Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
- May have access to personal health information ("PHI") necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.
- Answering phone calls from patients, caregivers, or other staff regarding concerns about a patient's condition.
- Obtains necessary information from the caller to process the call efficiently.
- On-call staff must be readily available outside of regular work hours, often requiring them to carry a dedicated phone or pager.
- Evaluating the urgency of a situation and determining the appropriate response, whether it's providing advice over the phone, sending a home health aide, or initiating a visit by another healthcare professional.
- Transfer the caller to the department or person that is best able to assist the caller or process a building page for the caller.
- Must be reachable by phone or other communication channels and prepared to return to work within a defined timeframe.
- Responsible for monitoring systems and resolving problems when needed Assists with administrative and clerical tasks as directed.
- Updating the primary nurse or physician about any significant changes in a patient's condition, coordinating necessary adjustments to the care plan, and ensuring smooth handoff when the patient is back under regular care.
- Maintaining accurate records of on-call interactions, including patient concerns, interventions taken, and communication with other team members.
- In critical situations, providing immediate care like administering medications, personal care & support, monitoring vital signs, or coordinating emergency medical services.
- Once alerted to a problem, they are expected to diagnose and resolve the issue as efficiently as possible.
- Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
- Effective communication with the entire home health team is vital to ensure coordinated care.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Associate Degree or equivalent years of training or work experience.
- One (1) year experience in healthcare, temporary help, or related industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Proven organizational skills and detail orientation.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workload.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
- Proficient in current company software programs.
