**Interim Healthcare Job Opportunity for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LVN to join our team in the East Houston area. This position requires exceptional patient assessment skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, strong time management and communication skills, and reliable transportation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Follow a designated care plan tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Perform Medication Administration, Wound Care, and Treatments: Administer medications as prescribed, provide wound care, and perform treatments and procedures according to established protocols.
- Monitor Client Conditions and Report Changes: Continuously assess clients' conditions and promptly report any changes or concerns to our Registered Nurses (RNs).
- Execute and Document Doctors' Orders: Accurately follow up on doctors' orders, execute them properly, and maintain detailed documentation of all interventions and evaluations.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise records of observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care management and services provided.
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License: Active LPN license in the State of Texas.
- CPR Certification: Current certification in CPR.
- PPD Test: Updated PPD test results.
- Experience: One (1) year of experience in healthcare settings, including home care, home health, hospital, and/or long-term care environments is preferred.
- Criminal Background Check and Drug Test: Must pass a drug test and criminal background check at the time of interview.
