Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to staff a full-time contract in Lafayette. This is a Monday-Friday position, with a one-weekend per-month on-call requirement.1-2 years of recent experience with patients who experience Aphasia, apraxia, dementia/Alzheimer's, head injuries, and progressive neurological disease. Preferred experience includes pediatrics as well as adult care experience. BLS & CCC-SLP are both required.

Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Organize and deliver the care of a group of patients with needs of varying complexity.
- Plan, direct, assess, and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department.
- Provide basic, bedside care
Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility
- Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility
